PROPERTY OWNERS, LOSS ASSESSORS, LOCAL AUTHORITY EMERGENCY TEAMS and others involved in RECOVERY IN FLOOD AREAS see below for advice and assistance RECOVERY AFTER FLOODING | Flood recovery is a specialised discipline which is separate to the general building work often required in the aftermath of water damage. Property owners affected by flooding are entitled to request that professionally qualified contractors are used for restoration and recovery work. Check our GUIDELINES to find out what you should expect from a flood recovery contractor. A full list of companies and individuals accredited by the BDMA can be found in the MEMBERSHIP section.
