The BDMA Awards celebrate companies, individuals and partnerships across the wider insurance industry, who have demonstrably made a positive difference through the work they have delivered in the past 12 months.

The renowned awards ceremony will take place at the BDMA Conference 2019: Defining the 21st Century Landscape, on the evening of Thursday 7th November.

It is free to enter the BDMA Awards, and applicants will be judged by the BDMA and external companies within the industry. Please see the Judging Panel here.

Awards entry deadline: Friday 6th September 2019 at 5pm.
Finalist shortlist announcement: Friday 4th October 2019.

Damage Management Technician of the Year The winner of this award will be a damage management technician who has shown dedication, professionalism and application in their work. An individual who has worked to develop their potential and demonstrated a clear understanding of client expectations between 1st May 2018 and 1st May 2019.  APPLY
 

Claims Practitioner of the Year

The winner of this award will be a claims practitioner who has demonstrated professionalism and recognition of client expectations in the context of property claims between the period of 1st May 2018 and 1st May 2019.  APPLY
 

Insurance Technician of the Year

The winner of this award will be an insurance technician who has shown an understanding of the damage management industry and demonstrated a commitment to collaboration with all parties involved in the property claims process, between 1st May 2018 and 1st May 2019.  APPLY
Specialist of the Year This award will be presented to an individual or company that has met or exceeded client expectations through the provision of key specialist restoration services, between 1st May 2018 and 1st May 2019.  APPLY
Young Achiever of the Year (30 or under) The winner of this award will be a young individual who has made best use of the available opportunities and shown significant process in advancing their career, between the period of 1st May 2018 and 1st May 2019.  APPLY
 

Domestic Damage Management Project of the Year

This award will focus on a domestic recovery or restoration project that has demonstrated professionalism, customer care, value for money and client satisfaction in the period of 1st May 2018 and 1st May 2019.  APPLY
Commercial Damage Management Project of the Year This award will focus on a commercial recovery or restoration project that has demonstrated professionalism, customer care, value for money and client satisfaction in the period of 1st May 2018 and 1st May 2019.  APPLY
Supplier of the Year Awarded to a supplier of products or services to the damage management industry, the winner will be chosen based on their ability to exceed expectations in areas such as customer service, quality, reliability and value for money. The winner must also be aligned with their customers’ values and highlight their relationships developed between 1st May 2018 and 1st May 2019.  APPLY
 

Claims Team of the Year

This award will go to a claims team who has demonstrated its commitment to innovation, customer service and collaborative working during the claims process. Valid for work between 1st May 2018 and 1st May 2019.  APPLY
Setting the Standard Award This award will be awarded to a company who has demonstrated superior customer service, delivered innovation and prioritised developing a highly skilled workforce, encompassing the values of the BDMA. Valid for work between 1st May 2018 and 1st May 2019. Open to BDMA members only.  APPLY
 

Partnership Project of the Year

This award highlights the successful partnership between two organisations working on a project between 1st May 2018 and 1st May 2019. This award is open to any company within the insurance, claims and damage management sectors. The judges will be looking for evidence of collaboration and the outcome achieved because of it.  APPLY
Sustainability Initiative of the Year Open to organisations who have demonstrated the integration of sustainability principles into their business operations between 1st May 2018 and 1st May 2019. Judges will be looking for an example that demonstrates the initiative in action and how the organisation has utilised resources, energy and the environment efficiently.  APPLY
 

Best Use of Technology

This category focuses on the best use of technology adopted by any organisation in the damage management and wider industry, from 1st May 2018 and 1st May 2019. The winner should demonstrate how technology was used to benefit and improve the efficiency of a project.  APPLY
 

BDMA Fellowship Award

This special award will be awarded on the night to an individual who the BDMA believes has made a large contribution to the development of the industry between 1st May 2018 and 1st May 2019.  N/A
