SAFARI PARK FUN FOR ALL THE FAMILY

The West Midland Safari Park is now fully open for summer and our friends at this superb attraction are again offering Recovery readers FIVE fantastic family tickets to see these delightful penguins and loads more! As well as the four-mile self-drive safari with its amazing collection of animals from all over the world, there are some marvellous attractions to visit on foot, too!

Penguin Cove, naturally, is the first to explore. Found in Discovery Trail with its variety of splendid all-weather attractions like Twilight Cave, Mark O’Shea’s Reptile World, Creepy Crawlies, Seaquarium and Sea Lion Show, the all-new Penguin exhibit is taking centre stage. These delightful little animals are making their summertime debut in this lovely new exhibit that incorporates a semi-submerged beach, waterfall with great viewing opportunities for visitors. Not forgetting of course Walking with Lemurs – the largest Lemur Walk-through in the UK. This is the perfect way to come face to face with Lemurs and their babies in this exciting new exhibit located in natural woodland beside a centuries old lake, that is home to a variety of Lemur including Ring Tailed, White-Front, Brown and Red Bellied – all natives of Madagascar and now totally free range at the Park.

Then, there’s an African themed interactive Village that comes complete with village ‘huts’ and an African home that allows visitors to peek behind the scenes to catch a glimpse of what life could be like in an African Village.  There are also plenty of friendly animal encounters that include the opportunity to feed some of the Somali Sheep, Pygmy Goats and Cameroon Sheep. The African Village is also home to Meerkat Mayhem. The exhibit has glass walls to allow the perfect viewing opportunity of these highly interesting and often amusing little animals.

There’s Hippo Lakes, home to the largest family group Hippo in the Country and the Safari Express Train ride that takes the direct route from the car park to the Amusement Area, packed with all kinds of fun rides and attractions, including some awesome rides like the Black Fly! Twister! Wild River Rafting! Rhinocoaster! Zambezi Water Splash and Venom (pictured above).

Each ticket admits a family of up to four people into the Park, before it closes for wintertime on 2nd November 2012.  please note: Amusement rides are not included as part of the prize, but multi ride wristbands and ride tickets are available to purchase on the day. Further information may be found on the Park’s website: www.wmsp.co.uk

THIS DRAW CLOSES AT MIDNIGHT ON 11 JUNE 2012
