ACCREDITED

The BDMA is committed to raising industry standards, providing accreditation for professional practitioners and facilitating recognition of specialist services in the recovery and restoration sector

Accreditation is at the heart of the BDMA's structure and provides the means by which professionals in damage management and related sectors can prove their competence and commitment to delivering industry best practice.

To begin the accreditation process please review the entry criteria under the appropriate category.  In most cases the first step will be to join the BDMA as an Associate.

Damage management practitioners can achieve accreditation as a Technician, Senior Technician, Consultant Restorer and Fellow.  There are additional accreditation categories for insurance professionals and specialist restorers.

The BDMA COLLECTIVE MARK is the only insignia that signifies accreditation and may be used only by individuals or organisations that have been formally accredited via the relevant criteria.

The BDMA Collective Mark is a registered Trade Mark

Misuse of the BDMA Collective Mark or the BDMA logo, or any claim to or implication of accreditation or ratification of competence by the BDMA, is taken very seriously and action is always taken where this is brought to our attention.  This may include referral to Trading Standards.

Suspected misuse of the BDMA Collective Mark or the BDMA logo should be reported to the Administrator via email at info@bdma.org.uk.
