Specialist Restorer

BDMA SPECIALIST RESTORER (BDMA SpecRest) is an accreditation for those who have a specialist qualification or experience in a specific area of specialist restoration.

BDMA SPECIALIST RESTORER – ENTRY CRITERIA

Experienced practitioner, who is familiar with general aspects of fire and flood disaster restoration, with a specific specialist skill or skills such as document, fine art restoration, furniture and upholstery re-instatement, remediation of specialised electronic equipment.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years specialist practice experience 
  • Qualification in specialist area
  • Associate Membership
  • Testimonial evidence
  • Experienced practitioner or researchers

Entry Method: Via submission of testimonial evidence and undergoing panel assessment process. Associates who wish to become accredited Specialist Restorers are now able to book their panel assessments. To view our panel assessment dates, please click here.

COMPETENCE IN BDMA STANDARDS

Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the BDMA Standards provided by the BDMA to all individual members.

FEES: £168.00 + VAT per annum.
